Overview
Not Dead Yet ("the App") is a safety check-in application operated by Iterate Pulse LLC ("we", "us", "our"). Your privacy is important to us. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
- Account information: Your name, email address, and optional phone number when you create an account.
- Check-in data: Timestamps of your check-ins and your check-in schedule preferences.
- Trusted contacts: Names, email addresses, and optional phone numbers of people you designate as trusted contacts.
- Location data: If you enable location sharing (a Premium feature), your approximate location at the time of a missed check-in only. We do not track your location continuously.
- Device information: Push notification tokens, device type, and operating system version for delivering notifications.
- Usage analytics: Anonymous, aggregated usage data to help us improve the app.
How We Use Your Information
- To operate the check-in and alert system
- To send notifications to you and your trusted contacts
- To process your subscription and manage your account
- To communicate with you about your account or the service
- To improve the app based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Trusted contacts: When you miss a check-in, your trusted contacts receive an alert. If you have enabled location sharing, your approximate location is included in that alert.
- Service providers: We use Supabase (database and authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (SMS delivery), and Expo (push notifications). These providers process data on our behalf under strict contractual obligations.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Check-in history is retained for up to 90 days. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@notdeadyet.us. You can also delete your account directly within the app's settings.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest for stored data. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email.
